Answers to prayers come with God’s help.
To enjoy the help of God means to receive assistance, support, service and advantage more than your companions or competitors – Ps 45:6-9- Heb 1:14. Help can also come in the form of receiving comfort, relief, and succor from any unpleasurable situation – Isa 40:1-2.
DIMENSIONS OF GOD’S HELP: Isa 41:10
- The 1st dimension of God’s help is the consciousness of His presence: The presence of God is an assurance that no matter the contradictions or whatever you are going through, God is there with. In times of need, He is the 4th man in the flames of fire. With his presence, nothing can roast or devour you without His permission – Ps 23:4, Isa 43:2.
- The 2nd dimension of God’s help is that He will strengthen you: Through His help, He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength – Ps 68:35, Isa 40:29, Isa 28:6. If God decides to help, He will strengthen you to regain composure and find solutions to issues without fear or embracing the option of running away.
- The 3rd dimension of His help is that He will fight for you: When God fights for you, all those who were incensed against you shall be ashamed and disgraced; they shall be as nothing and those who strive with you shall perish. The LORD your God, will hold your right hand, saying to you, ‘fear not, I will help you. Isaiah 41:11.
- The 4th dimension of His help is that He will empower you for exploits: After God deals with all your enemies and grinds them to powder, He will then empower your hands to accomplish great and mighty things.
God’s help covers the entire range of our needs, troubles, and problems. He wants us to lay hold on these promises for help in every time of need.
How well do you soak in God’s promises for help in time of need?
Prayer is the key in the hand of faith to unlock heaven’s storehouse. But the right key does not automatically unlock a door unless you use it. To receive His timely help, you need to know how to insert it into the lock with prayer, praises and thanksgiving.
When next you feel helpless and out of control, turn to the One who is fully in control and perfectly able to help in times of need.
